Drive 37kms north of Accra through the scenery Akwapim Mountain to the town of Aburi. Towering some 880m above sea level, catch a bird eye glimpse of from here whiles visiting the famous British botanical gardens established in 1890. You can find a great number of uncommon tropical plants and trees with some having been planted by some world figures such as Queen Elizabeth II of England. Continue with a visit to the Tetteh Quarshie Farm nearby at Mampong which is officially recognized as the first cocoa farm in Ghana from 1879. Return to Accra after tour.
